Important Information
Delivery times are provided as guidelines only, and do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. While we endeavour to get your ordered items to you as quickly as possible, kindly note that shipment lead times may also be affected by adverse weather conditions, and delivery to remote areas may result in longer-than-quoted delivery times. We are also unable to deliver to post office boxes.

Taxes and Duties

Canada & International Orders
You may be charged customs duties and taxes for something purchased online because:

  • Duties and taxes are typically not included in the price of the goods one purchases online, and are not included in the overall shipping costs quoted on the MAUD FRIZON online boutique.
  • When purchasing goods online, some or all of these goods may not originate in the country you reside in and therefore may be subject to a customs duty, which is a tariff or tax imposed on goods when transported across international borders.
  • When goods are not shipped domestically (within your country) or within a single customs union, such as the European Union, you may be liable to pay any inbound duties and taxes which your local customs authority deems appropriate.

To ensure the courier can deliver your goods after entering your country or customs union, you may be required to pay back the shipping company for any duties and taxes that are due on the goods.
What is payable, if anything, depends on the local customs regulations of a given region, on where the goods are sent from, the type of goods, their transactional value and the weight of the package.
To best understand if and to what extent your order may be affected by customs duties and import taxes, we recommend checking with your local customs authority for the most up-to-date information for your given region.

First-Time Order Policy

For security purposes, we reserve the right to ship first-time orders to the cardholder’s verified billing address or work address. To avoid delays in receiving your order, please make sure to provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing an order.

Insurance

All of the packages and orders we shipped are fully insured from the moment they leave our doorstep to when they are delivered to you. All orders require a signature upon delivery, at which point responsibility for the shipment passes to you. If you have specified a recipient other than yourself for delivery purposes, you also accept that signature by the third party is sufficient proof of delivery and fulfilment by MAUD FRIZON.
